The Best of Times publishes its 200th issue!

The Best of Times, a monthly newsmagazine in Northwest Louisiana for “those of us 50+”, celebrated a centennial milestone by publishing its 200th consecutive issue with its August 2009 issue. With a current monthly circulation of 20,000, it is among the largest monthly publications in Northwest Louisiana. It is available for free pickup at 518 distribution locations in Northwest Louisiana and mailed to thousands of subscribers. Additionally, thousands of readers have viewed or downloaded the current or past issues for FREE at www.TheBestOfTimesNews.com.

The Best of Times, a part of TBT Multimedia, LLC, celebrates “Age and Maturity” each month with articles on senior-related topics of interest. Over the years, the publication has been honored with many statewide and national awards for its editorial content, graphic design, and community involvement.

Recently, the Circulation Verification Council (CVC) of St. Louis conducted an independent circulation and readership audit.  Some of the readership findings included: 55.9% of the readers said that they keep monthly issues for 30 days or longer and 71.2% of the readers said that they frequently purchase products or services based upon ads seen in The Best of Times.
